Michael Franti Previews Upcoming LP with Video Debut, “I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like)”

Michael Franti, the veteran reggae/roots rocker who with his stalwart group Spearhead has achieved both critical and popular praise for such anthemic hits as “A Little Bit of Riddim” and “Say Hey (I Love You),” is gearing up for the release of his eighth studio LP, All People, with the video premiere of its ebullient lead single, I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like).

All People marks Franti's first album since 2010's The Sound of Sunshine, his most successful effort to date. An invigorating live performer, Franti has no doubt won over new fans in recent years from having toured with such artists as Counting Crows and John Mayer, not to mention from his own heavy schedule as a headliner. A slew of new concert dates are already on tap through the next three months at least, according to Franti's official website

All People will be available July 30 on Capitol Records. Check out “I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like)”:
